RNC seeking witnesses to assault at school

The RNC is continuing to investigate an assault of a female youth that took place at Leary’s Brook Junior High school on Larkhall Street in St. John’s Monday.

About 12:30 p.m. Monday, RNC responded to the school.

The female victim reported she was physically attacked and assaulted by another female at that school. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the Janeway Hospital and later released.

The suspect involved in the assault was identified by numerous witnesses and was later arrested at her residence. She was charged with assault causing bodily harm and held in custody.

She appeared in court Tuesday and was released to be back in court at a later date.

The RNC is continuing to investigate the assault and would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident.     When are the courts going to make an example out of these kids,they should be tossed out of school for rest of the school year.Thesekids will grow up and run the court system just like all the others that you read about everyday,they already know the system and they are not even mature yet.Crack down school board before someone is murdered.
