When RNC officers pulled over a vehicle on Mundy Pond Road in St. John’s early this morning, both the driver and passenger found themselves in trouble.

The male driver of the vehicle was charged with operating a vehicle with an expired licence. He will attend traffic court at a later date.

Meantime, the male passenger was arrested for failing to attend court and breach of  probation in relation to a matter already before the courts.

He was held in custody to appear in provincial court today.

The traffic stop occurred about 1:30 a.m.
