Multiple accidents reported near Bay Bulls Road in St. John's

Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers are responding to three separate motor vehicle accidents in-and-around Bay Bulls Road in St. John's early Thursday evening.

According to a news release, one accident occurred near an Irving Station on Bay Bulls Road, while another happened on the bridge between Bay Bulls Road, Columbus Drive, and Topsail Road.

The third accident was reported near the underpass of Pitts Memorial Drive. All collisions are said to have occurred at approximately 5 p.m.

The area between Old Bay Bulls Road and Topsail Road has been closed to traffic, according to the release.
