The Telegram website offers only a sample of the stories our reporters, editors and photographers work hard to get to the public every day.

Friday’s full edition of The Telegram, on the other hand, contains much, much more, from news to opinion to our expanded Arts & Entertainment section.

• The elderly parents of a St. John’s metro area man with a complex range of mental and physical disorders have had their appeal of the cutback of his home support hours denied, despite having letters from experts.

•As the government prepares to decide whether or not to sanction and green light the Muskrat Falls project, there continues to be dispute over basic pieces of information.  The public debate is being mired in innuendo and omission from all sides. Over the next two days, The Telegram will tackle some of the outstanding issues. In today’s edition, Part I — “Muskrat Falls reality check.”

• A St. John’s student charged with assault has been handed a harsher suspension from school.

Under Eastern School District policy, a principal can suspend a student for five days and the board has the option of extending it — which it has done.
