Police investigating break and enter, seek public help

The RNC is requesting the public’s assistance regarding a break and enter on Pennywell Road in St. John’s this week.

Between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday, someone broke into Jiffy Cabs located at 322 Pennywell Rd. The items stolen included a quantity of cash.

The RNC General Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate this offence and is seeking the assistance of the general public.

Investigators are asking anyone with information in relation to this incident to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.

The RNC is also issuing a reminder that any person who is in possession of stolen property can be charged criminally under the Criminal Code of Canada.
