A 90-year-old man was charged with impaired driving and refusing the breathalyser Sunday in the St. John’s area.

The RNC was called by a member of the public concerning a possible impaired driver.

The accused was released to appear in provincial court at a later date.

In another case, as a result of a motor vehicle accident Sunday, a 23-year-old man was charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level over the legal limit.

He was released to appear in court at a later date.

In the meantime, overnight, a pizza delivery man was robbed in his van in the east end of St. John’s by two unknown males.

A small sum of cash was taken.

The RNC’s K-9 unit was called with no luck in finding the suspects.

The investigation is ongoing
