In the St. John’s area today, a mix of sun and cloud with 60 per cent chance of showers, according to Environment Canada.

The wind will be southwest 40 km/h gusting to 60. High 6.

Tonight, it will be partly cloudy, with a 60 per cent chance of rain showers changing to 60 per cent chance of flurries this evening.

Wind southwest 30 km/h gusting to 50. Low zero.

For Tuesday, a mix of sun and cloud with 40 per cent chance of rain showers or flurries.

Meantime, for Corner Brook, flurries and snow squalls forecast for today. Local amount 10 cm. Wind southwest 30 km/h gusting to 50 except gusting to 70 along the coast. Temperature steady near zero.

Tonight

    Flurries and snow squalls. Local amount 5 cm. Wind west 30 km/h gusting to 50. Low minus 3.

Tuesday

    Mainly cloudy with 60 percent chance of flurries. Wind west 30 km/h gusting to 50. High minus 3.
