Woman charged with impaired driving after RNC receives call from citizen

A 25-year-old woman, a resident of Alberta, was charged with impaired driving an operating a vehicle with a blood-alcohol level over the legal limit about 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Kilbride area of St. John’s.

The RNC received a call from a concerned citizen about a possible impaired driver and responded to the area.

The woman was held in custody overnight for court today.
