Lumber stolen in Happy Valley-Goose Bay

Sometime overnight Wednesday, about $2,000 worth of lumber was stolen from Central Truss on Ottawa Street in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

The RCMP said in a news release officers were called to the scene about 9:12 a.m. today.

The lumber has distinctive blue markings it, which is unique to Central Truss.

The RCMP is encouraging anyone who might have witnessed the theft or has information regarding the crime to contact the local RCMP at 709-896-3383 or contact CRIME STOPPERS anonymously at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), Text at TIP190 or use the secure web tips @ www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
