RNC investigating armed robbery in centre city area

RNC patrol officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at a service station in the centre city area of St. John's about 10:55 p.m. Monday.

An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen.

There were no injuries.

The RNC’s criminal investigation division, forensic identification section and K9 unit were called to the scene and the matter is under investigation.

If any member of the public has any information that may assist in this matter they are asked to contact the RNC or Crime Stoppers.
