Temporary flights to coastal Labrador communities to conclude next week

Flights to communities on the coast of Labrador, provided through CAI Nunatsiavut Marine as a replacement for seasonal ferry service, will conclude next week, the Department of Transportation and Works said today.

The schedule for the final charter flights is:

Nain to Natuashish, Hopedale, Postville, Makkovik, Rigolet, and Happy Valley-Goose Bay: the final flight will take place on Friday, Dec. 7;

Happy Valley-Goose Bay to Rigolet, Makkovik, Postville, Hopedale, Natuashish, and Nain: the final flight will take place on Monday, Dec. 10;

Happy Valley-Goose Bay to Rigolet, Cartwright, and Black Tickle (return trip): remaining flights will take place on Saturday, Dec. 8, and Saturday, Dec 15.
