Myles-Leger Ltd. owners, comptroller, lawyer charged with fraud

The owners of Myles-Leger Ltd. — Randall Myles Clarke and William Leger Clarke — along with Terence Reardon, the company’s comptroller have been charged with 38 counts of fraud over $5,000 and one count of conspiracy to commit fraud.

The lawyer representing the company, William Parsons, has also been charged with 38 counts of fraud over $5,000 and one count of conspiracy to commit fraud.

The RCMP’s Commercial Crime Section laid charges against the four accused after a lengthy fraud investigation involving real estate deals and mortgages.

Myles-Leger Ltd. is a construction company that operated in the city of St. John’s. The company was involved in the development and construction of residential subdivisions and condominiums.

The three accused from the company are scheduled to appear in provincial court in St. John’s Dec. 18.

William Parsons of the law firm William J. Parsons with its law office in Mount Pearl, is scheduled to appear in provincial court in St. John’s Jan. 8.

    Ryan and Tina Clarke, Bill Clarkes son and wife are the face of the new condo developments that Bill Clarke is backing in the downtown area I think people should know these people are involved before purchasing. Based on his past history anyway.
