The ability of the public to use the airport is far more important that the right of some workers to strike, especially when these are workers that can be easily replaced. Perhaps, after the strike, we should try to replace some of these workers with technology. Technology has no rights. It just works.

Like all strikes, this strike is ridiculous. Strikes in general are counterproductive and should be replaced by some other bargening tool eg. binding arbitration. This is an essential service and this distruption to the public should not be tolerated just to feed the egos of a few so called leaders.

Now this is to both sides in this strike. It will eventually be solved at the negotiating table so put those silly, infantile egos away, get back to the table and bloody well stay there until two groups of alleged adults can solve this thing. You potentially hold the Xmas celebrations of thousands of families for ransom, including mine ( a son who has not been here for Xmas for 27 years is coming with his family). All I'm reading into the media coverage is a bloody ego contest. Give it up, get back to the table and settle this, whatever it takes before you lose what little respect you still have from the public at large.
