Man, 71, charged with driving-related offences

A 71-year-old man was charged Thursday in St. John’s with breach of undertaking and a number of driving-related offences, including owing $7,000 in outstanding fines.

RNC officers found that the man did not have a drivers licence or insurance, and also faces three charges under the Highway Traffic Act.

He was held in custody for a court appearance on Friday.
