The Mummers Parade, Concert and Jam will take place Saturday, Dec. 15 at 3 p.m. at The Rooms. If you’re out and about downtown St. John’s today be sure to watch out for the mummers.
The annual Mummers Parade will be passing along several streets in the area, and while the roads will not be closed, motorists are asked to be on the lookout.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary will be escorting the parade as it makes its way along the route, which includes: King’s Road, Gower Street, Cochrane Street, Bond Street, Colonial Street, Military Road, Rennies Mill Road, Monkstown Road, Catherine Street, Hayward Avenue, Flemming Street, Belvedere Street, Barnes Road, Mullock Street and Bonaventure Avenue.
The parade starts at 2 p.m. and goes until 3 p.m. There will also be a rig up for anyone who’d like to participate, starting at 1 p.m., at Bishop Field Elementary.
