Two reports of break and enters in Stephenville were made to the Bay St. George RCMP early Sunday.

According to a news release from the RCMP, the first was at a building on Main Street that used to be a KFC. Nothing was reported stolen.

More than $5,000 worth of goods were stolen at the second location — the Sears outlet on Carolina Avenue. Flat-screen TVs, other electronics and tools were taken.

A 29-year-old man from Stephenville has been arrested during an investigation into the break and enters. He faces two counts of break and enter along with two counts of breach of probation. He is scheduled to appear in court this morning.

The items stolen from the Sears outlet have all been returned.
