Apparent hit and run under investigation

Mount Pearl — The RNC is investigating what appears to be a hit and run that happened Saturday night in Mount Pearl.

The incident happened between 8:45 and 10 p.m. on Mount Carson Place, when a vehicle, that appeared to have a snow plow attached, hit a garage, along with a van that was parked in the driveway, causing extensive damage.

The RNC is appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or were in the immediate area to contact police. Anyone who has any information in relation to the collision is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can also provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
