Pasadena man charged with uttering threats

A Pasadena man was arrested by the RNC overnight and charged with uttering threats to kill.

The complainant reported to police around 2 p.m. Monday that the man had threatened to her that he would cause harm to another female.

According to a news release from the RNC, the victim and the accused knew each other. The victim was not injured.

RNC patrol services arrested the 54-year-old man without incident at a home around 10:30 p.m. The accused was taken into custody and will appear in provincial court in Corner Brook today.

The RNC asks that anyone with information about the incident contact police at 637-4100 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477). Information can be provided anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers website at www.nlcrimestoppers.ca.

    Probably a false charge, like half the uttering cases I've seen in my life. Do they work together? How's about some details?
