I thought that the Feds did away with the "credit for time served" bonus. Not only did they get cedi but they got time an a half. Gotta love the overtime schedule.

Too late for crying and hugging. These two hoodlums did not turn bad overnight. They had years of practice and apparently nothing was done by those responsible for their upbringing to keep them on the straight and narrow. The time has now come for these thugs to take responsibility for their actions.

Not that I disagree with the sentence but I've seen rapists get less than two years...

Iam really surprised they got as much as they did. The judge tried to lessen the sentences as much as he could by running the sentence concurrent, and the telegram helping by saying 900 days to make it sound like a bigger sentence. According to court history judges in NL are for the criminal not the victims, which is sad. I only wish the had US judges.

These two Nimrods deserve this and more. Everyone has an excuse and these two are no different. They have been in trouble before and will be in trouble again.

Good. I'm sure these guys are just misunderstood geniuses and all, but some time in jail might do them some good, make them feel like real gangsters, and keep them away from people who can manage to go through life without hurting others. And trying to blame it on alcohol is just sad.

Fast forward a couple of years and we'll hear more from these louts; likely escalated crimes as they'll be taught well by upstanding citizens in the big house. At least they're off the streets for a short while; get some more tats and markings while you're inside boys; that way it'll be easier to identify you when you're out and back at your old tricks.
