Seven-year-old hit by truck in Lewisporte

A seven-year-old boy was hit by a pickup truck in Lewisporte Tuesday, according to a news release from the RCMP.

The collision happened on Bowater Drive at 7:30 p.m. while the child was on a scooter on the road. He was brought to a medical clinic and treated for his injuries, and was then released.

No charges are expected to be laid in relation to the incident.

    What is a 7 year old doing. Out in the dark riding a scooter. And the parents are where? Could have been worse. Guess the driver has a schock for life. Not the parents or 7 years old fault ,, Or was it??? HUNBUG
