19 year old charged with mischief

A 19-year-old female is facing a mischief charge after she told police she was robbed at knife point and sexual assaulted.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says its follow-up investigation led to that charge, as well as a charge of breaching a court order.

She was released to appear at a later date.
