A father and his three-year-old daughter were struck by a Ski-Doo this morning in Hopedale, the RCMP said in a news release.

Officers were called to the scene. The father was treated for minor injuries at a local clinic, and the girl was not injured.

The RCMP has arrested a 66-year-old man for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. He will appear in provincial court in April.
