Police in Corner Brook are looking for a missing woman who was last seen midday Saturday.

According to a Royal Newfoundland Constabulary news release, Cindy Elizabeth Penney was last seen in the area of Brookfield Avenue in Corner Brook at approximately 12:40 p.m. on Dec. 29.

The 40-year-old woman is described as 5’4” tall and 160 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was said to be wearing a black coat, black sweat pants and white sneakers.

The RNC advises it is concerned about Penney’s safety and well being.
