Impaired driving charge laid

A man was charged early this morning with impaired driving after an RNC officer stopped the man’s vehicle in the west-bound lane on Pitts Memorial Drive near Mount Pearl.

The accused was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act for driving while suspended and his vehicle was impounded by police.
