I think Ms.Mitchell is just trying to make a name for herself. Mr. Jackman won by 40 votes. In my humble opinion...case closed. You will always find someone, somewhere, trying to be politically correct.

The election in dispute is closing in on 1 1/2 years ago. I would have thought that with this dispute being a constitutional as well as deciding a representative for the district it would have been resolved by now. If the finding is in favour of the NDP, what are the consequences? Mr. Jackman will have been receiving a salary that technically he may not have deserved, would the time he worked since the election count towards his pension, would Ms. Mitchell receive pay sje didn't earn but may have deserved if elected. If Mitchell had been elected, who would have been the official opposition? Both opposition parties would have had the same number of seats, yet the NDP had a plurality of the votes between the both of them. Interesting times ahead|!!!
