Visitation resumes at Brookfield Bonnews Health Centre

Restrictions strictly enforced at Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre

Central Health is advising that regular visitation has resumed at Brookfield Bonnews Health Centre.

The health authority says it would like to thank the public for co-operating during recent visitation restrictions.

Due to the continued presence of influenza-like illness, however, complete visitor restrictions will be strictly enforced at Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre, until further notice.

Central Health says the needs of clients are being met through ongoing care from staff.

Family members who have any questions should contact Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre at (709) 257-5247 and ask to speak with the nurse in charge.

"The public's cooperation is requested as we put these precautions in place to prevent the further spread of this virus," the health authority said in a release.
