Woman arrested, drugs seized in Stephenville

A 52-year-old woman from Stephenville was arrested Tuesday in connection with drugs seized by the Bay St. George RCMP at a home in the town.

According to police, more than 1.5 pounds of marijuana was seized as well as cannabis resin,a large quantity of cash and drug paraphernalia.

The woman faces charges of trafficking marijuana, possession for the purpose of trafficking marijuana, as well as possession for the purpose of trafficking cannabis resin.

She was released to appear in provincial court in Stephenville on March 11 to answer to the charges.

Marijuana is evil! Just look at how many people end up ill or dead from smoking this evil plant! They should banish this plant from the planet as it is more harmful than cigarettes and alcohol combined! ;-P
