GoBus shuts down service due to storm

GoBus Accessible Transit, the para-transit system in the St. John’s area, has shut down operations for the night due to stormy weather.

“We got everyone home nice and safe,” general manager Mark Pritchard said shortly after 8:30 p.m.

Pritchard said the GoBus will be off the road overnight, and the situation will be reassessed around 9 a.m.

Metrobus also shut down its operations around 6 p.m.
