Two females charged with robbery with violence

A 21-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl were charged with robbery with violence during an incident in the east end of St. John's Thursday night.

An adult male victim received minor injuries.

The RNC says they were called to the incident shortly after 10 p.m.

Other charges against the two accused include assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and breach of a court order.

Both were held in custody for court this morning.
