Two men were arrested Friday afternoon in the west end of St. John’s following what police called a “physical dispute.”
According to the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s overnight report, the two men were neighbours. A sixty-seven year old was charged for assault with a weapon and being unlawfully in a dwelling. He was due to appear in weekend and statutory holidays court Saturday morning.
The other man, 44, was arrested for uttering threats and was released to appear in court at a later date.
