RNC seek public’s assistance to solve break and enter

The RNC’s general investigation unit is requesting the public’s assistance in relation to a recent break and enter on Pearson Street in St. John’s.

On Thursday, Jan. 10, sometime before 10:55 p.m., some broke into East Coast Coins at 36 Pearson St. Items stolen included coins and bank notes.

Investigators are asking anyone with information in relation to this break, enter and theft to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.

The RNC is also issuing a reminder that any person that is in possession of stolen property can be charged criminally under the Criminal Code of Canada.
