The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) in St. John's is seeking the assistance of the general public in locating missing person Katie Youngberg.

The 25-year-old woman was last seen around 1:20 p.m. Saturday.

She's described as being five feet, five inches tall, 110 lbs with light brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance she was wearing light-coloured capri pants, flipflops and a dark jacket.

The RNC Major Crime Unit is continuing the search and is seeking the assistance of the general public. Anyone who has any information is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

People can also provide information anonymously on the N.L. Crime Stoppers website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.

really - she was found? ya ever notice they tell us she was found safe and sound...sound being debatable. - they never mention "Why" they were missing though reread the story she was last seen saturday in light cfapris and flipflops??? really? Newfoundland....Capris in January....Cripes i missin something
