Great timely advice which we should see/hear more of. I'm posting this on the bulletin board at work.

People should also remeber to turn on their headlights during times of poor visibility. While your vehicle may have daytime running lights, your rear lights are only on when you brake. Turning on your headlights illuminates your rear lights as well allowing vehicles approaching from behind to better see you. With regards to clearing snow from all windows, headlights, etc., does the RNC ever stop/ticket drivers for not doing this? It seems that whenever there is snow, freezing rain, etc., there are numerous people driving around with windows and lights covered. It's days like that I wish I was a cop.

Can I add that all the Tim Hortons junkies actually get out of their vehicles and not block road traffic waiting for coffee in the drive thru, there's a few intersections in this city where that happens on a daily basis, especially in the winter, and there's no need, it's pathetic.
