Man says he was robbed by two armed suspects

An 18-year-old man called the RNC about 11 p.m. Thursday saying he was robbed by two people armed with weapons in the Cowan Heights area of St. John’s.

The suspects were reported to be a male and a female. The RNC did not say what weapons the suspects were alleged to have been carrying.

The victim was not injured during the incident, however, was robbed of personal effects.

The RNC is continuing its investigation and no arrests have been made.
