Roads snow-covered, slippery

Police, St. John's Fire Department and ambulance personnel are at the scene of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Campbell and Cashin Avenues in St. John's.

Two people are reported to have received non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident caused traffic to be slowed in all directions.

Roads in the city are snow covered and slippery.

    If the roads are slippery you have to slow to the conditions of road..Speed was a factor in the crash.

    I agree. It's been snowing all day and I haven't seen a snowplow at all, the roads are never plowed. I swear its like they wait for it to end and hope for mild weather and rain to take it away. City of St John's is absolutely terrible with keeping our roads safe, its a joke!

    I can understand having accidents,it's been snowing since about 10am.I have yet seen a salt truck on my street,and one of the busiest roads Topsail Rd.I just came from the east end all the way to Mt Pearl Square and back again and did,nt see one city salt truck until I hit Mt Pearl.So if you are going to get coffee or a phg of smokes you should be able to drive our roads safely.So RJ before you run of with your smart mouth know the facts this could be a family member of your.

      If the roads aren't cleared or salted.....slow the frig' down.
