I believe these young men all knew each other. Also at least one of these boys is not a terrible person and comes from a decent family. Possibly being in the wrong place at the wrong time might be an issue for that one. I could be wrong... though giving someone the benefit of the doubt is usually a good idea...at least until the truth comes out.

Beebes, I was with ya until you said this- "the only way people can steal something from u is if u value something that can be stolen.the way i see it if someone gets all hissy pissy about something being stolen, (unless its a child) then thats their problem..." yes drug addiction is often a result of deeper issues but my post does not deny this...either way there is no programming , or not adequate, in our justice system to deal with drug addicts who steal... and yes, things have value to people and they have every right to get 'all hissy' when some druggie steals their stuff, but the most valuable thing that is taken in home invasions and robberies is peoples sense of 'security' ...that is worth far more than a watch or a bottle of loonies... if you think that people shouldn't 'get all hissy ' when they are robbed, you need to check your own moral compass.

  i realise that people work hard for the things that they own. I do know they have every right to get mad about it. home invasions is a touchy subject for me. when that happens its usually because they know there is something in there and they want it...but...in other notes, i witnessed some things latly that made me think about peoples rights, when the authorities r called on an individual, whom is regarded as mentally ill due to an illegitamate statement or otherwise. they have no rights and is regarded as a danger, even if that individual is harmless.that is something that grinds my gears....as far as security goes, im not really afraid of anybody. i dont give the perp what they want, if they want fear , i give em anger, or try to understand the circumstance that at hand, when u surprise people with an opposite reaction, it confuses them.ive lost everything ive owned twice, i dont get attached to things. and the newer things that i buy and spend too much on, only last for a certain time then i craps out. i like things that can take a shitkicking, but i am very careful with things.i dont have or believe in morals ...really...if a persons morals can be changed by sociatial views of how things are supposed to be, and what is right. them good morals are formed in a controled view. the thing is, to me there is no difference in good and bad, because bad can fake good. the only good that cant be faked is love and being truthful.and forgiveness.sorry if that was a bit much.

u cant just state that drug addiction is the problem, and leave it at that.for all addictive behavior it is a way to cope with how one sees reality. all addictive behavior stems back to issues with oneself or issues about how others view them in all actuality, they use because they are in pain and its the only way to cope.a lot of the times people just need somebody to try and understand them, love them for whom they are with the addiction, perhaps, try to make them realize it is a problem without sounding condecending. yeah, addicts need help, u have to realise addicts r everywhere...judging them and labeling them makes the problem worse.it in essence does the opposite that needs to be done. the only way people can steal something from u is if u value something that can be stolen.the way i see it if someone gets all hissy pissy about something being stolen, (unless its a child) then thats their problem.the things i value...r people, places, and feelings. and the stuff i have, is stuff that serves a purpose, if it breaks...i get a new one(if its made anymore). i love 4x4ing and i would love to build my own, but the only way that is happening soon, is if i win the lottery. going up back country hiking and kyaking...im pretty sure most people would rather be doing that the robbing people.as a society, we created the monsters we condemn, maybe its time for us to take some responsability and judge less and care more.

I HOPE this one and the one in Stephenville is drug related. If they are attacking at random, somebody innocent will get hurt. Next we'll be seeing iron bars on the windows and doors and nobody will walk the streets.

would be nice to know more, particularly was this a random attack or where they known to each other (as in they broke into a fellow druggie's home...)...the times they are a changing people, and drug addiction is the problem. Time for some serious efforts from government to deal with the drug addicts who commit crimes to support their addiction, go to jail , get no help or treatment while there, get back on the streets still addicted, and commit more crimes to feed their addictions...and back to the Penn where there is still no treatment programs...I'd say that 90% of the B&E's these days are by addicts.
