A 56-year-old Corner Brook woman has been charged with assault after an incident at a residence in the city on Sunday afternoon.
The RNC says they received a complaint about 3:15 p.m. from a 19-year-old woman who said she had been assaulted inside a home in the Curling Street area.
The accused was released to appear in provincial court at a later date. Both the accused and the victim were known to each other.
