A 30-year-old man was charged with impaired driving on the weekend after being stopped by RCMP in Happy Valley/Goose Bay.

RCMP officers pulled over the man’s vehicle on Mesher Street about 1:50 p.m.

Charges of impaired driving and driving while his blood-alcohol level was over the legal limit have been laid.

He was released from custody to appear in provincial court in Happy Valley/Goose Bay Feb. 20.
