The 31st annual Frosty Festival in Mount Pearl will run from Friday, Feb. 8 to Saturday, Feb. 16, it was announced today.
A news release notes that the community winter carnival combines affordable entertainment and an opportunity to celebrate with family, friends and neighbours, as thousands of people pass through the festival gates each year. It’s a week of music, magic, laughter and sportsmanship.
There are over 50 events set for all ages and will take place both indoors and outdoors. Activities include visits to seniors homes, hockey, dances, sliding, a variety show, a dinner theatre, snowmobile rides, community breakfasts, and a scavenger hunt.
