The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says it has successfully located and arrested Allan Gregory Cake, a 33-year-old who police publicly announced they were looking for Thursday.
The RNC said this afternoon he has been held in custody until a court appearance.
Police said Thursday Cake was wanted for his alleged involvement in an incident that occurred in the west end of St. John’s on Jan. 3 and a warrant had been issued for his arrest.
The RNC said he was wanted for dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, assault with a weapon, flight from police, failure to stop at the scene of an accident and various breaches of court orders.
