Guns stolen from shed in Corner Brook

Police in Corner Brook are investigating a residential theft involving a pair of shotguns.

Between 3 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday, two shotguns were stolen from a shed on a residential property on French’s Road, according to the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary.

The guns stolen are described as a Ranger 12-gauge shotgun and a double-barrel shotgun. Police expressed concern about the nature of the items stolen and classified their availability on the street as a public safety concern.
