Marijuana seized in Labrador

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC,) Labrador City detachment, seized what police say appears to be about 5.7 kgs of marijuana in a search of a vehicle around 12:15 a.m. today.

An investigationis ongoing and the RNC says charges are pending.

Anyone with information in relation to drug crimes can call the RNC in Labrador west at 944-7602 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). People can also provide information anonymously on the N.L. Crime Stoppers Website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com

One day this will be looked back on the same way we look back on Alcohol Prohibition. End this madness now. Legalize, don't penalize.
