Corner Brook RNC release more details on stolen guns

Police in Corner Brook have released more information about the theft of shotguns from a shed over the weekend.

The theft is believed to have occurred sometime within a 24-hour period that started Friday at 3 p.m. Corner Brook RNC were called to French’s Road late Saturday afternoon.

Police initially reported that two guns were stolen, but new information from the owner of the property indicates three were in fact taken.

They are described as a double-barrel 12-gauge shotgun with a brown stock and a black barrel, a Ranger regular 12-gauge shotgun with a brown stock and black barrel, and a 16-gauge single-shot shotgun.

Also stolen from the shed were an undisclosed number of shotgun shells, a yellow Dewalt heavy duty worksite radio, a Dewalt 18-volt reciprocating saw, and an undisclosed amount of money.
