Man facing drug trafficking charges

Trinity Conception RCMP officers seized a quantity of marijuana, weigh scales, a cell phone and related drug paraphernalia early this morning as a result of a search of a residence on Patrick Street in Carbonear.

As a result, the RCMP says a 22-year-old Carbonear man is facing a charge of possession of cannabis marijuana for the purpose of trafficking. He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Harbour Grace provincial court on April 16.
