RCMP in the Bay St. George area say an air search for a missing hunter has been completed, but ground search and rescue personnel are still on the scene.
An RCMP Underwater Recovery Team will be assisting beginning around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The RCMP said in a news release this afternoon divers will commence a search of West Bay in the morning. More updates will be made as more information becomes available.

A search is on for a missing hunter in the Bay St. George area.
The 50-year-old man left his residence after 8 a.m. Monday to go duck hunting and was expected back at 5 p.m. When he failed to return, his family contacted the Bay St. George District RCMP about 6:15 p.m.
Local search and rescue has been actively searching throughout the night with the assistance of a helicopter from Gander's 103 Squadron. A civilian helicopter was brought in this morning and is now involved in the search.
The search is based on land and water.





The police have not provided a photograph or released the missing hunter's name. If we receive such information, we would report it.
