The Telegram website offers only a sample of the stories our reporters, editors and photographers work hard to get to the public every day.

Wednesday’s full edition of The Telegram, on the other hand, contains much, much more, from news to opinion to our expanded Business section.

• A former cruise ship that has been adrift off the coast of Newfoundland since last Thursday was moving towards the Hibernia oil platform as of Tuesday evening.

A spokesman for the Canada-Newfoundland Offshore Petroleum Board told The Telegram Tuesday evening that the MV Lyubov Orlova was approximately 33 nautical miles (61 kilometres) from the platform.

In an email sent to The Telegram shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday, Transport Canada said the vessel was approximately 145 nautical miles (268 kilometres) east by south of St. John’s. It said the offshore installation operators had contingency plans in place to deal with a potential collision.

• If Steven Michael Neville feared for his life, he didn’t have to jump out of a moving car and confront two men chasing him, the Crown told a jury during final arguments Tuesday.

Prosecutor Robin Fowler said Neville, instead, wanted to kill the men.

• Kiewit Offshore Services has been tasked with building the drilling support module for the top side of the Hebron gravity-base structure (GBS).

The large component of the $14-billion offshore oil installation will be built at the company’s Cow Head facility in Marystown.
