Influenza prompts visitor restrictions in Springdale

Central Health is advising the public that, effective immediately, due to the presence of Influenza A, complete visitor restrictions will be strictly enforced at Valley Vista Senior Citizens' Home in Springdale, until further notice.

The health authority says the needs of clients are being met through ongoing care from staff. Family members who have any questions should contact Valley Vista Senior Citizens' Home at (709) 673-3936 and ask to speak with the nurse in charge.

The public's co-operation is requested as precautions are put in place to prevent the further spread of this virus. Central Health would like to thank the public for their co-operation during the visitation restrictions.
