Water main break hoped to be repaired by early evening

City crews are working on repairs today to a water main break that occurred this morning on Terra Nova Road in St. John’s.

There are reports a couple of homes may have received some flooding a result.

Repairs are expected to be completed to the water main break by 6 p.m. today.

The city advises area residents that they may experience loss of water, low water pressure or discoloured water. If so, the city asks people to run the cold-water tap in the bathtub of their homes until it clears.
