RCMP seeking assistance in cabin break-in investigation

The Whitbourne Detachment of the RCMP is requesting the public's assistance with an investigation into break, entry and thefts at two cabins in the Ocean Pond area.

Sometime between Jan. 22 and 24, police say a black, 2.5-horsepower Mercury outboard motor was stolen, valued at about $1,200. Anyone with any information related to this incident is encouraged to contact the Whitbourne RCMP at (709) 759-2600 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
