Because Corner Brook is expected to get less than 50 millimetres of rain, only getting about 25 millimetres, I think Environment Canada issued a Rainfall Warning in that area for no reason. Under Environment Canada and "The Weather Network" regulations, in order for a Rainfall Warning to be issued, an area must receive at least 50 millimetres of rain over a 24 hour period. With Corner Brook getting less than 20 millimetres, Environment Canada violated their own requirements for a Rainfall Warning, meaning that it should be cancelled.
